We custom bind carpets in our own shop, which lets us cut and finish any carpet from our showroom to perfectly fit your staircase, hallway, or room. We can wrap a runner over your treads, bind an oriental-style area rug from your favorite broadloom, or finish a custom mat for an entryway — all done here.

Beyond picking a style it is important to pick the right fiber for your needs.
- Nylon — durable, resilient, stain-resistant. Ideal for high-traffic areas.
- SmartStrand (Triexta) — durable, stain-resistant and soft; performs great in homes and commercial spaces.
- Wool — a natural fiber, luxurious, stain-resistant and environmentally friendly with excellent insulation.
- Polyester — soft, wide color range, resistant to fading and stains; a more affordable option.
- PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) — eco-friendly, durable, stain-resistant and made from recycled plastic.
- Olefin (Polypropylene) — excellent stain and fade resistance and moisture-wicking; often used for indoor/outdoor carpet.
- Acrylic — a soft wool alternative that is lightweight and fade-resistant.

- Excellent noise reduction and added slip resistance for safety.
- Available in countless styles and textures, from plush cut pile to durable Berbers.
- We also offer stair runners, custom rug binding and area rugs.
Cons
- Seams are part of every carpet installation and may be visible.
- Roll crush (flattened pile) is common after shipping and usually resolves within a week.
- Holds dust, allergens and pet dander — it needs regular vacuuming.
- Not ideal for moisture-prone spaces, and subfloor imperfections may show through.
Customer preparation checklist
- 1Remove small furniture, décor, electronics and breakables from the rooms.
- 2Take down curtains and clear closet floors in affected areas.
- 3Arrange to move large furniture — ask us in advance if you'd like our team to help.
- 4Plan for pets and children to stay out of the work area during installation.
- 5Keep a clear path from the driveway to the rooms for material delivery.
- 6Let the new flooring acclimate in your home for the time we recommend before install.
Care & maintenance guide
- Vacuum in a 360° pattern using a manufacturer-approved beater bar.
- Blot spills immediately — never rub, which spreads the stain.
- For small stains, mix a few drops of dish soap with white vinegar and water, then blot.
- Use entry mats and remove shoes to catch dirt before it reaches the carpet.
- Deep clean professionally at least once a year (steam clean only if the manufacturer approves).
